Performance Excellence a Number 1 Priority

A recent survey of 121 CEOs from around the world found the excellence in execution is their number one priority and challenge. This was a higher priority than top line revenue growth and profitability.

The statement above points to the importance of people in sustaining top level performance. Therefore, attracting and retaining highly ranked people will be a high priority strategic objective along with the Performance Management processes to measure and reward success.

The CEOs again confirm the importance of retention of key talent. Keep that in mind as you craft your Incentive Compensation Programs in 2008.
