Using Contests to Jumpstart Your New Sales Program

Consider using a sales contest to jumpstart a new sales initiative. Often referral programs are jumpstarted by paying for referrals whether they turn into business or not. This will help drive a behavior change. However, more effective can be a contest run with winners receiving cash or noncash rewards. Contests allow you to get creative in marketing the new sales initiative while having fun at the same time.
