The Talent War
Fighting and winning the talent war will be a top priority for financial
institutions in the next few years. In the July/August issue of Compensation & Benefits
Review is a discussion of the McKinsey research in this area. Their findings
are that organizations that score high in talent management are more
successful and show a 22% higher return to their shareholders. Incentives
that differentiate are also a characteristic of these successful organizations.
A sound Performance Management strategy is fundamental to the pursuit
of operational excellence.
